How truSculpt 3D® works
truSculpt 3D® uses a special tool to apply controlled monopolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to the fat under the skin. The RF energy heats the fatty (adipose) tissue until some of its cells break down. The body then slowly clears the damaged fat cells through the liver and lymphatic system, leading to a more contoured appearance.
For effective fat reduction, truSculpt 3D® offers more patient comfort than other RF devices. It operates at a different frequency that heats the fat more deeply and at a uniform temperature, focusing heat on the fat instead of the skin. The skin does not overheat, so patients avoid the burning sensation felt with other RF devices.

How long does the truSculpt 3D® procedure take?
The entire treatment lasts about 30 minutes to one hour, and you can sit back and relax throughout. Most people find it comfortable; you may feel deep warmth, while the applicator keeps the skin surface cool.

How many treatments do patients need before they see results?
